Accepted payment methods

Products purchased by the Customer through the site can be paid with:

  • Credit card;
  • PayPal;
  • Bank Transfer
  • Cash on Delivery (with an additional 4 euro service fee)

 

Credit card

At no time during the credit card payment procedure is Imballaggi Point able to know the information relating to the credit card, the card number, or the financial, asset, and personal information of the Customer. The payment order is, in fact, transmitted — through a secure connection — directly to the portal of the bank or financial company expressly indicated by the Customer.

Imballaggi Point, therefore, is in no way responsible, and cannot be held responsible, for any fraudulent and/or illegal use of credit cards carried out by third parties during the purchase and payment procedure of products through the Site. Payments for products and/or services that are made by third parties using fraudulent and/or illegal use of credit cards (e.g., cloning, theft, etc.) shall be considered correctly made in favor of Imballaggi Point, which in no case shall be obliged to refund any sum in favor of the legitimate holder and/or owner of the credit card used fraudulently and/or illegally.

In the event of anomalies or irregularities in the payment, Imballaggi Point reserves the right to request additional information from the Customer and/or the sending of copies of documents proving ownership and/or lawful possession of the credit card used for the purchase. If the Customer does not provide the data and/or requested documents within the reasonable time period indicated by Imballaggi Point, which shall not be less than three calendar days, Imballaggi Point may not accept and/or cancel the Order or terminate the already concluded contract, without this giving the Customer any right to claim compensation for damages or assert any other claims.

 

PayPal

If the chosen payment method is PayPal, the Customer is redirected to the PayPal login page and the payment is handled according to the methods and rules that govern the relationship between the Customer and PayPal itself, a relationship from which Imballaggi Point is completely excluded.

PayPal can be selected in two ways:

– By pressing the "Buy with PayPal" button, which immediately redirects to the PayPal login page (so-called “Short process”); or

– By pressing the "Buy with PayPal" button, entering all the required data, and finally selecting "PayPal" as the payment method (so-called “Long process”).

 

Bank Transfer

If the chosen payment method is a bank transfer, the Customer is invited to contact Imballaggi Point customer service to receive the necessary information to proceed with payment.

 

Cash on Delivery

If the chosen payment method is cash on delivery, the Customer will be asked to confirm via phone, WhatsApp, or e-mail that they wish to proceed with the purchase. The service cost is always 4 euros regardless of the order value. Payment to the courier can only be made in cash.

 

Payment security

In the case of online payments, the data provided by the Customer is transmitted in a way that prevents others from reading it.

The Site is certified (as shown by the certificate that appears by clicking on the closed padlock icon visible in the upper browser bar).

Furthermore, the application software used to manage the Site uses the SSL protocol (Secure Socket Layer) to encrypt data sent over the Internet. Credit card payments are handled directly by widely used online sales companies such as Shopify, Stripe and PayPal to ensure transaction security.

To verify whether you are using a protected connection, simply check that the page address begins with “https” instead of “http” and that the padlock icon visible in the browser bar is “closed”.

The Customer acknowledges and accepts what is stated regarding payment method security, releasing Imballaggi Point from any liability that may arise from issues occurring despite the adoption of the above security measures.

 

Payment for products booked through the site and collected at a store location

Customers who choose to purchase and collect products at one of the Imballaggi Point stores and/or at one of the affiliated stores indicated on the website must complete payment at the store selected at the time of purchase, using the payment methods made available by that store.
